✵ Pregnancy Circle ✵
Gathering in circle with other pregnant people gives you a nourishing feel of community and the knowledge that, whatever arises in your pregnancy journey, you are not alone with it.
The circle is a safe space to share stories, voice fears and make connections.
Each circle will have a different theme and incorporate sharing as much as either crafting, ritual or meditation. Themes that arise could be:
Your birth blue print
Expectations
Gratitude
Fear
Grief
Shame
Alignment
Dreams
Meeting your child
Surrender
Love
Tea and snack will be provided.
(Just gotta love cake when you're pregnant 🍰)

A doula can be many things. We stand for continuity in your perinatal journey, we reassure you, and we advocate for you. More often than not, we are also fact checkers in the ever changing world of pregnancy and birth.

If you book an antenatal session with me, its content is very much defined by your needs. Maybe you want to talk about your options, birth location, induction, pain relief and overall pros and cons.
Maybe, you already know about all the above, and you'd rather have a session where we look into your ideas, wishes and fears.
Sometimes, you might just want to talk things through with someone...

Your investment in an Antenatal Session...
...is £ 65. Each session is 2.5 hours long, and we meet at your home.*
The session can be for a couple, a family or a single person - and you can book a single session or several - entirely up to you ✵✵✵
*If you live further than 15 miles away from Helston, I would have to charge mileage. Alternatively, we can do the session online.

A Blessingway is a beautiful opportunity to...
Honour and celebrate the birthing person,
Acknowledge pregnancy and birth as a rite of passage,
To lovingly nourish the birthing person,
And to hold them in Community.
When you ask me to organise a Blessingway for you or a friend of yours, we gather a chosen group of your friends and family and use ritual, song, food and massage to pamper the birthing person.
The Blessingway can be held outdoors, at your home or a selected venue. As your facilitator, I would hold the space for you and your group and gently guide you through the ceremony.
One of the ceremony's elements, will be a Despacho.
A Despacho is a gratitude offering to Nature and the web of life that surrounds us.
Despachos are an integral part of the Shamanic tradition of the Q'eros, the Andean tradition I was trained in.
Other elements may be a massage for the birthing person, a foot soak, sharing yummy cake and a ritual with beads and candles.
There's always room for individual ideas and wishes too
